A Sad News...

Out of 4 planned test for Revathy's mother, "Anaesthesia" test failed and the Doctors are not ready to operate her and get the kidney. Even some of the fund collectors spoke to the doctors for other possibilities but, returned without any success.

Any information known to anyone about this test and things that could be done to continue with the operation will be helpful.

Since the money collected is for the operation which itself is in question now, Revathy and her family are ready to refund it in case of no further updates from doctors.

Letter from Sri Ramachandra Hospital

I hereby appeal to your good self seeking financial assistance to save my beloved daughter for the transplantation of her kidney.

I was working in M/s. Premier Auto Electric Ltd., Chennai in service station unit. The service station unit was closed in 1999 owing to ill-effects of globalization and as a result I also became the victim of that closure and was retrenched from the company. Now, I am working in an STD kiosk on daily wage basis and the total monthly family income is Rs 1000/- only.

I have two daughters. The elder daughter has got married and the younger daughter Selvi. V. REVATHY, aged 21 years has finished B.Com. My younger daughter suddenly developed "Renal Failure" problem. The she was admitted in the free-ward of the SRI RAMACHANDRA MEDICAL COLLEGE - PORUR, as unbelievable shock and dismay fell on my family. We were informed that both the kidneys of my younger daughter had become non-functioning. I have been advised by the medical specialists in SRMC - PORUR, to arrange for transplant of the kidney as early as possible and till such time "DIALYSIS" should be done weekly thrice. The expenditure for transplantation of the kidney is estimated as Rs 2.5 lakhs and Rs 10,000/- per month will be required after transplantation towards the cost of medicines throughout her life.

I pray your good-self to extend a helping hand to save my daughter's life.
